YouTube

I've discovered a while ago that YouTube is a great place to explain and video blog about beauty, makeup, and hair insights. The beauty community, I've watched, seems to all be connected and most of the YouTube beauty "gurus" seem to know eachother and have met up a couple times in real life.

It amazes me to see how a hobby like this can turn into a job for the gurus. YouTube has set up a system, YouTube Partner, for video bloggers who have enough viewers and subscribers to be YouTube partner. This allows them to get payed for each video they have posted.

My favorite beaty bloggers on YouTube happen to be jlovesmac1 and juicystar07. Some beauty bloggers, including the most popular ones, may get endorsements from a company to review their product. In my opinion, fafinettex3 has gotten so many endorsements, in my view she turned into a walking commercial. She has changed over the years and has gotten a lot more mature and commercialized. She used to be my #1, but it seems that she posts a lot of advertisements on her channel. Thus causing a major fall in her subscribers. Popular Bloggers who have do few advertisements may get more subscribers because they are so much more in touch with they subscribers and are more real, without being some commercial.

YouTube is always a great place to be heard, and talk about beauty, health, care, and even daily blogs in the form of video. You may be popular, or viewed on YouTube a lot, or have very little people view your videos, but either way, YouTube can be a hobby to anyone.

Long Time, No See!

Haven't been on my blog for the longest time, no joke. I think my last post was way back in the SPRING! I didn't even have a chance to explain my favorite summer rompers and outfits this season, before they basically went out of fashion! Wear those rompers while you can, Fall is coming and its ready to have one huge blow out!

The dry patch is over, now that I've decided to go back into blogging and twitter and all that. New blogs swarming over the upcoming fall fashion should be coming. As for me, when my blogs stopped, its like I've been not into clothing that much. :( That's really strange for me. But a new school year calls for new clothing! Yay!

So, that's my hello blog. :)

March Addictions.

NEWS FLASH.

Quick note on my blogs!

Every month, towards the end of it, I will have a Monthly Addiction. I will post any subject of addiction on both my blogs. This blog and my 'thestyleportion' blog, whether or not it has anything to do with fashion or anything. But, since it's the 30th, out of the 31 days of March, it's time for the first monthly Blog Addiction!

This being my third post on my "personals" and style blog, I have obviously been addicted to posting and blogging on here. There has been so much on my mind and what other way to share it by blogging now with the new technology out there. Wow, I sound like an Ancient Square Grandma saying 'new technology.' But there it is. Without time to chill out during the month, I think blogging has been my last resort, and I will enjoy continuing to do it!

Toms. Popularity vs. Fashion?

TOMS, the popular shoe that at first glance looks not ordinary. The shoe itself is made of cloth and stretches to hug your foot. The shape is remotely skinny, but not just your regular slip on VANS.

(Displays the same color variety of TOMS, but in different shape. Common design)

I have been doing some research on the TOMS brand and shoe and it turns that for every purchased TOMS, you give one pair of TOMS to a child in need in Argentina, along with the same trade off with Element/TOMS skateboards which will be distrubuted in a skate rink in Durban, South America. They call their trade off method the One for One charity and also explain why shoes can be important for protection, schools, etc. (http://www.toms.com)

As I have read along the lines of the TOMS website, I learned that the TOMS corporation sells Co-branded Polo Rugby line of TOMS.

The actual shape and fashion of TOMS has caught on as more and more people follow trends of buying them. The fact that maybe people bought them for the good cause, to follow other's trends, or to actually savor the fashion sense of the wrap around shoes. The TOMS brand carries wrap around shoes including glitter sequins, a variety of colors, vegan material, classics, linens, and artistry shoes along with a TOMS boot which to me could complete the final look of a mummy's Haloween outfit.

I find it is popular with YouTube sensation, youtube.com/user/livelavalive, LiveLavaLive--Mitchell Davis wears TOMS shoes and has promoted the brand, also. With many girls it is popular at my school. Though I have not bought a pair, seeing as the trend has been so popular it seems pointless, I am willing to blog about how they seem to be catching on.

The popular TOMS shoes with its variety of style and color is popular between those in my school and those outside and inside with men and women. The TOMS shoes is catching on faster and faster in the spring collection that will go well with a pair of light wash skinny jeans or a nice floral skirt. Ranging from $44-$98 depending on color, and style, the TOMS shoes is reasonable statement to participate in a good cause and a way to follow the Spring fashion. The TOMS shoes popularity rises, but ultimately, the choice is yours whether it's fashion sense or popularity.

First Impressions.

First impressions are the worst for me. And for that, I'm sorry.

Blogs, whether no one reads it, it could probably do me good one way or another. Not so sure what I would like to be as an adult, but ever since "The Devil Wears Prada," a movie which is difficult to comprehend according to my Dad, my destiny as a fashion editor or designer or whoever Meryl Streep was in that movie must be pursued. Interested in musicals, and acting, also. But I merely wish I was as good as a singer as most out there. I get a kick out of speaking in public, but I was never good at writing anything other than poems. Maybe poetry is my calling?

But, enough about my destiny. I don't know how in the world that subject got there. Multiple subjects I think might be composed for my blog. Fashion for one, but also daily word, and maybe gossip and stupid trends adults criticise with "back in my day..." Introductions were never good for me, along with writing essays on history, as my social science teacher writes messily on my papers. I hope that this blog would be not as harsh and boring as those of any others, for I hope to add personal life that interacts with many in my blog.

My name is Anjani, by the way, as I said, intros aren't my thing. I'm not an in depth person--but I do tend to dwell on certain things, like if I ramble on about my everyday spasms. But those who do know me in real life know that I am clumsy, I am a spazz, and I might not do everything right. I do tend to find myself in unlucky situations, ones saved for another blog, but for now, my invisible, probably never to read this blog written in 12.8 minutes, audience, I hope you give this lame blog a second chance once you read my future ones. Thank you!
